Part one of this breakdown will look at the PHRF NW fleet total and break it down statistically.  Then we’ll see how Boomerang fits into the fleet from a Rating perspective.

Part two will do the same analysis for the Van Isle 2019 fleet (estimated).

PHRF-NW 2018 Membership:

• There are 765 members on the Roster. 
• They have ratings that run from the blazing – (minus!)105 to the – cough – gentlemanly 333. 
• The mean AND the median are both at 114.
• The single rating with the highest count was 93 rating with 35 boats rated as such.
• Boomerang Rates 132 (2018) [ I anticipate more like a 127 or 128 for 2019 with the new sail]
• Rating 132 has 22 boats.

So not the fastest, but solidly in the middle and plenty of boats within striking distance.
